A Matter of Balance

For a complete workout, it’s important to focus on strength, flexibility, stamina… and balance!
Actually, we need balance in order to carry out a range of daily activities, such as climbing stairs. Good balance prevents falls, which can sometimes have serious consequences.
How can you know if you have good balance? Do you know what to do to improve your balance?
Here are a few easy exercises you can do a few times a week.

To prevent accidents when starting these exercises, use a chair or the wall for support. As you progress, try to reduce your dependence by removing one hand, and then the other. Eventually, you won’t need them.
